Library Policies
The following policies govern how we use our library.
Loan Policy
Library materials are loaned to registered borrowers only, providing the patron does not have any outstanding fines or overdue books and materials.

Overdue Policy
Fines will be assessed on borrowed library materials that are not returned on the due date. The patron will be allowed one grace day, and weekends and holidays are excluded from fines.

Internet Policy
In response to advances in technology and the changing needs of the community, the Kenedy Public Library has designated computers such as the online catalog stations and Internet access computers available for use. Library computers used for administrative purposes will not be available for public use, but for library staff use only.

Copier & Laminating Policy
The Kenedy Public Library does offer copier and laminating services.

DVD Policy
The Kenedy Public Library houses several DVDs for patrons to check out for viewing “home use only”. A limit of four videos, or DVDs per household will be permitted.

Wi-Fi Internet Policy
Wireless internet service is available at the Kenedy Public Library. Wi-Fi allows you to access the Internet without cables or wires. Patrons with wireless-enabled devices can now connect to the internet for as long as they like, without having to wait for a free PC at the library.

Daugherty Meeting Room Policy
The Daugherty Meeting Room will be available to non-profit organizations. No profit making organizations will be allowed use of the room.Library functions will have precedence over all other functions.
