STORYBOOK CHARACTER PUMPKIN CONTEST

GUIDELINES TO ENTER CONTEST:

1.  For ages: 3 years -12 years.
2. Check-out a book from KENEDY PUBLIC LIBRARY.
3. Choose your favorite literary character from the book and portray that character utilizing a foam or plastic pumpkin. (NO REAL PUMPKINS ALLOWED)
4. Create our pumpkin character using anything your want with the exception of carving. 
5. Include a nameplate (pick up nameplate at the library) to accompany your pumpkin. Fill out nameplate and return to library along with your decorated pumpkin and book chosen.
6. Document creation of your pumpkin through pictures and your involvement (2-3 pictures of you creating pumpkin).
7. You may bring your pumpkin to the library starting: Mon. Oct. 19th - Fri., Oct. 23rd during library hours, 8 am - 5 pm.
8. Pumpkins will be judged, and winners will be announced Tues., Oct. 27th @ 4 pm. (Winners will be notified if not present.)
